Scape engaged ROOM to deliver the furniture, fixtures and equipment for their Ascot Kensington project, providing a clear brief and FF&E schedule as part of the tender process.
Appointed to procure and install, we worked closely with Scape’s design manager to develop a cohesive furniture package that responds to the needs of a highperforming student living environment while reflecting the brand’s vibrant and contemporary identity.
Through considered selections of colour, materials and finishes, including fabrics, powder coats and laminates, we ensured each piece aligned with Scape’s unique aesthetic. In addition to furniture, our team curated a range of styling elements incorporating cushions, live plants, board games and decorative objects to create a welcoming and lived-in atmosphere.
The scope included furnishing individual bedrooms across eight levels, alongside a large communal ground floor space. We also developed and integrated key custom elements such as a feature pool table, curtains and bespoke booth seating to unify the overall design language.
Sustainability was a key consideration throughout the project, informing both sourcing and styling decisions. Notably, 3D-printed planters made from recyclable materials became a standout feature within the scheme.
ROOM delivered installation, rubbish removal and final styling within a tight one-week program, ensuring the project was seamlessly executed and ready for photography on completion.
